Maureen McCormick born as Maureen Denise McCormick on August 5th, 1956 in Encino, California, USA is a famous American actress and recording artist.

Maureen McCormick was born to Irene nee Beckman and teacher William McCormick. Maureen has three elder brothers named Michael, Dennis and Kevin. She had her education at Charles Evans Hughes Junior High and Taft High School. Maureen as a baby won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley beauty pageant in her childhood that led her to set sights on acting career.

Beginning her acting career with a stage play at the age of seven, Maureen went on to appear in several commercials including Barbie doll, Kool Aid, and Chatty Cathy doll in 1964. She made her debut on television in the same year with a two-episodic guest role in "Bewitched" {2 episodes: 1964-1965}.

Maureen McCormick played the role of a chirpy girl, Marcia Brady on ABC's long-running sitcom "The Brady Bunch" {116 episodes: 1969-1974}. The series became so famous that it led to syndication, spin-offs, and movie versions like "The Brady Girls Get Married" {Tv film:1981}, "A Very Brady Christmas" {Tv film: 1988}, "Bradymania: A Very Brady Special" {Tv film:1993}; spin-offs like "The Brady Bunch Hour" {9 episodes: 1976-1977}, "The Brady Brides" {5 episodes: 1981}.

Maureen McCormick has dated Brady Bunch co-star Barry Williams. She later married Michael Cummings on March 16th, 1985, who she met in a church and fell in love instantly. They together have a daughter named Natalie Michelle Cummings born May 1989. Interestingly her husband Michael Cummings is said to have never heard or seen "The Brady Bunch".
